Important financial aid dates for new ÃÛѨÊÓÆµ students

October 1:

  • File your as soon after October 1st as possible
  • Use ÃÛѨÊÓÆµ's federal school code (003198) to have your FAFSA sent directly to ÃÛѨÊÓÆµ.

No later than April 1:

  • Notification of financial aid awards begins for admitted first-year students

No later than May 15:

  • Notification of financial aid awards begins for admitted transfer students

May 1:

  • National Candidate Reply Date for admitted first-year students
  • Matriculation fee $400 due to the Office of Admission

June 15:

  • Enrollment Notification Deadline for admitted transfer students
  • Matriculation fee $400 due to the Office of Admission

On or before the first day of classes: 

  • The Student Accounts Office sends out bills/student account statements for fall semester, as well as instructions on how to pay your balance or set up a payment plan on or before the first day of classes. 
  • Parents planning to borrow a Direct Parent PLUS loan for their dependent undergraduate student should complete their before the first day of classes. 
  • Parent PLUS loan borrowers should complete their Direct  on or before the first day of classes. 

August:

  • The Office of Financial Aid begins disbursing financial aid for eligible students when classes begin for fall semester.
  • First-time Federal Direct Stafford (subsidized/unsubsidized) student loan borrowers should complete both their (MPN) and online by August 15.
  • Students who accepted employment on their award letter should search for Federal Work-Study or Campus Employment jobs on .
