Honoring Constitution Day
Constitution Day is a federal observance commemorating the September 17, 1787 signing of the U.S. Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens. Schools that receive federal funding celebrate the day by providing a variety of educational programming about the Constitution.
Constitution Day 2026
September 17 – Constitution Day: Constitutional Quiz & Engagement Table
Students will host an interactive table on campus, inviting passersby to answer constitutional trivia questions and learn more about the history and impact of the U.S. Constitution. Pocket Constitutions and small prizes will be available while supplies last.
September 30 – What It Means to Be an American
This event will explore the evolving meaning of American identity, civic belonging and shared values. Final details are currently in development and will be announced soon.

October 21 – Revitalizing Democracy
A broader campus conversation focused on strengthening democratic participation, civic trust and community engagement in the United States.
