  • 1950-1969

    Bob Lunt ’52 of McMinnville celebrated his 70th wedding anniversary to wife Donna on July 5, 2024.

    Dennis Ludwig ’66 of Eugene was recognized on May 31 by the Oregon Coaches Association this year for 60 years of coaching. He has been coaching at Sheldon High School in Eugene for the past 56 years and will be coaching again this fall for his 57 year at Sheldon and 61 overall.

    Jim Johnson ’68 of Keaau, Hawaii, has sailed back to the Solomon Islands after a year in Micronesia. He has been on this voyage from Hawaii for eight years on a steel ketch that he designed, built and launched 30 years ago in Oregon City. His oldest son Morgan (who was born in Tahiti) joined him for six months this year and his daughter Jessica (who was born in Papua New Guinea) joined him for a visit in September.

    Shirley (Niemuth) Lane ’69 of Richland, Washington, and her husband Tom Lane ’69 continue to live on their homestead in northern Wisconsin, this being six years now. They have two new vehicles driving grandchildren and two more! They are retired and living the good life!

  • 1970-1979

    Harold Tu ’71 of Omaha, Nebraska, was a finalist at the 2024 UTSA League National Invitational. He competed at the Adult 65 and Over 70 National Invitational held in Arizona in January.

    Scott Lamb ’74 of Green Valley, Arizona, went to Ukraine twice on humanitarian mission work. On the first trip, he entered Lviv Ukraine 33 days after the war started and helped feed war refugees. Eventually through an English speaking local Rotary Club worked in supplying first aid kits to the army and hospital supplies to hospitals on the eastern front. He spent a total of five months in Ukraine.

    John Axtell ’75 of Chadron, Nebraska, retired in June after more than 50 years in the radio business.

    Kirk Bales ’79 of McMinnville was recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives in June for dedication, achievements and leadership in real estate and land development.

    Sean Coste ’88 of McMinnville was celebrated for coaching his 500th victory as the head coach of the McMinnville High School Girl's Basketball Team.

  • 1990-1999

    Scott Nelson ’94 of Sherwood is associate vice president for undergraduate admissions at Warner Pacific University.

    Stephanie Routh ’99 of Portland was selected as Chair of Portland's Planning Commission.

  • 2000-2009

    Daniel Hunter ’07 of Molalla was voted unanimously to become the City Manager for Lincoln City. He has been the city manager pro tem since October 13, 2025.

  • 2010-2019

    Travis Tocher ’11 of Hillsboro after 14 years of teaching, has stepped into a new leadership role as Assistant Principal at Forest Grove High School for the 2025?26 school year.

    Trevor Gomez ’14 of Bend, owner of Risen Medical, was awarded the Platinum Presidents club award from Orthofix for west region bone growth spine distributor of the year. Sam Gomez (2021) and Gabe Mojarro (2019) are also employees of Risen Medical and included in the award.

    Erin Lasher ’14 of Moscow recently accepted the Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life position at the University of Idaho.

    Liza Matsumoto '14 of Pearl City, Hawaii married Landon Hamada in Dec 2025 in Haleiwa, HI.

    Daniel Endicott ’20 of Longview completed his Master of Business Administration at University of Arizona Elier College of Management.

    Justin Pfau ’23 of Waipahu was promoted to Assistant Director of Football Sports Performance at Stanford University.

    Shaelynn Silva ’25 of Hermiston is attending George Fox Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
